Sovereign “Tradie” Alloy tray

Our Australian Made, conventional heavy duty alloy tray range.
We followed the request from key clients and added a new, conventional heavy duty alloy tray to our range. Common with our welded heavy duty tray range we utilize modular sub-assemblies and offer two “Tradie” headboard options.

Econ Tradie: A square heavy duty headboard, complete with a heavy duty top rack extrusion to secure your loads.

Sovereign Tradie: The 76mm diameter headboard used in our welded “Weight-Saver” trays.

Also common with our welded heavy duty tray range are the spring-loaded drop-side catches and the drop-side hinges. The mounting system is also identical to our heavy duty welded tray range.

Advanced computer modelling and testing:

We have developed our products with our harsh Australian environment in mind and for that reason have applied far greater test-loads than expected in real-world driving conditions. This identifies high stress points enabling us to optimise our design and remove risk areas.

Deck features:

The Floor Planks we have used in our tray are rated to 2.5T.

Our tray also comes complete with vehicle specific heavy duty mounting system. Our deck design is suitable to take our alternative “Tradie” headboard options.

Tray mounting system:

Our mounting system provides a strong tray connection to the vehicle for a quick fitment time.

Heavy Duty Hardware:

We use the same heavy duty hardware across the full range of our trays. Our hardware include hinges with nylon bushes, forged gudgens and spring loaded over-centre latches are used to eliminate tray rattle.

Head-board “Econo Tradie Option”:

This practical headboard style is a tradesman’s solution which includes Sovereign proprietary corner-post extrusions and full tray width heavy-duty “Top- rack – extrusion”, complete with a load protecting, safety non-slip rubber insert. Rack extrusion is suitable to accommodate “Rhino-rack” accessories and is complete with load restrain provisions.

Head-board “Sovereign Tradie Option”:

This headboard style is identical to our heavy duty tray designs, made from 76mm diameter alloy tube. Incorporated into the vehicle contoured tube shape are two load bearing upright supports at chassis width. Headboard is complete to accommodate load-stops and retaining provisions.

Both headboard options are suitable to fit window protectors or full width safety-screens.

Drop-side options:

The standard Tradie tray comes complete with 225mm high drop-sides and tail-gate extrusions.

Alternatively we can fit our heavy duty 250mm high sides of our “Sovereign Weight Saver” system. Identical hardware is used.
